Dejusticia has worked to incorporate mechanisms that make existing drug policies more flexible with a view to greater protection of human rights, from a regional, national and international perspective. Our main thematic axes are: the right to health for people who use drugs and for those who need pain relief; the impact of criminal policy on drug offenses and reforms to transform the State's response; the incorporation of a sustainable development and gender focus in the implementation of the Peace Agreement; and the transformation of public opinion on drugs.
