Fiscal Policy and Human Rights in the Americas: Mobilizing Resources to Guarantee Rights

This document, prepared within the framework of the thematic hearing on Fiscal Policy and Human Rights of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), states that the human rights standards contained in international and regional instruments provide a normative framework and a set of parameters and guidelines applicable to all phases of the design, development, implementation and evaluation cycle of fiscal policy.
