Lawyer from Universidad EAFIT, Master in Sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science and Master in Public Law and specialist in Public Management from Universidad de los Andes. He is currently a researcher at the Laboratory of Justice and Criminal Policy. He was a researcher at the Center for the Study of Law, Justice and Society (Dejusticia) and worked at the Constitutional Court. His research interests are access to justice, judicial independence, criminal policy, police law and police sociology, subjects on which he has authored and co-authored books and articles.
