Este taller busca fortalecer las capacidades de investigación y escritura de los participantes, para que su documentación sea sólida pero también pueda ser vertida en formatos más narrativos y abiertos para todo el mundo.<\/p>\n

Además tiene como objetivo promover la diversidad de miradas en un universo de derechos humanos donde las voces de Estados Unidos y Europa son muy fuertes. La idea es formar voces influyentes de los mismos lugares donde surgen la mayoría de los casos. <\/p>\n

La lucha de los derechos humanos está protagonizada por personas que tienen una historia para contar. Como los relatos de los casos no pueden estar enfocados solamente de manera técnica, sino también humana, los talleres narrativos que incluye esta escuela se enfocan en rescatar el contenido vital de los casos donde se están violando normas y decretos y darle una voz al autor para que enriquezca su relato.<\/p>\n

“No se trata de sacar un producto literario de una situación muy dura para una población vulnerable, sino de acercar las historias al público, crear empatía, y también reflexionar un poco sobre el movimiento”, aclara César Rodríguez, director de la Escuela y director internacional de Dejusticia.<\/p>\n

Este año el énfasis temático de la escuela será la Justicia Transicional, y los participantes viajarán a Montes de María y Cartagena donde se concentra parte del proceso de justicia transicional a las víctimas de las masacres y de los atropellos cometidos por todos los actores armados en el conflicto colombiano, para que los asistentes entiendan la relevancia de Colombia en ese tema. <\/p>\n

El taller también contará con la participación de importantes talleristas como Nelson Padilla, periodista narrativo, César Rodríguez, director del área internacional de Dejusticia, Rodrigo Uprimny director de Dejusticia y Kathryn Sikkink renombrada académica de Derechos Humanos en el mundo.<\/p>\n
