{"id":26037,"date":"2008-07-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2008-07-01T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dejusticia.org\/the-right-to-health\/"},"modified":"2017-04-11T07:26:37","modified_gmt":"2017-04-11T12:26:37","slug":"the-right-to-health","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.dejusticia.org\/en\/the-right-to-health\/","title":{"rendered":"The Right to Health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La Procuradur\u00eda General de la Naci\u00f3n en asocio con Dejusticia y con financiaci\u00f3n de la Agencia Catalana de Cooperaci\u00f3n al Desarrollo, adelantaron una investigaci\u00f3n con el fin de evaluar el sistema de salud colombiano y en particular su sistema de inspecci\u00f3n, vigilancia y control, desde la perspectiva de los derechos humanos. <\/p>\n<p>La ley 100 de 1993 implic\u00f3 importantes reformas al sistema de salud colombiano. Sin embargo, este nuevo sistema ha tenido enormes dificultades en la pr\u00e1ctica. Entre las m\u00e1s importantes est\u00e1 el problema de la equidad, la calidad y la cobertura del sistema de salud. En cuanto a la inequidad, este se debe principalmente a las diferencias en los contenidos en el POS (Plan Obligatorio de Salud) y POS-S (Plan obligatorio de Salud para el R\u00e9gimen Subsidiado). Con respecto a la universalidad, un amplio n\u00famero de personas no logran acceder al sistema. Finalmente, la calidad del servicio depende en la mayor\u00eda de los casos de la capacidad de pago de las personas.
