\u00bfPodemos desobedecer la ley injusta? <\/p>\n

Un debate sobre objeci\u00f3n de conciencia y subversi\u00f3n entre el padre Javier Giraldo y el profesor Mauricio Garc\u00eda Villegas, de gran inter\u00e9s para la cultura pol\u00edtica y el ejercicio de la oposici\u00f3n en Colombia.<\/p>\n

El padre Javier Giraldo, uno de los defensores de derechos humanos m\u00e1s apreciados en Colombia, conocido por su defensa de la comunidad de paz de San Jos\u00e9 de Apartad\u00f3, envi\u00f3 un memorial al Fiscal Seccional 216, de la Oficina CTI, en el cual, por razones de conciencia, se rehusaba a acudir a un proceso en el cual un coronel del Ej\u00e9rcito lo acusa de calumnia. En esa misiva el padre Giraldo expuso, adem\u00e1s, las razones por las cuales estimaba que una actitud de no colaboraci\u00f3n con la justicia est\u00e1 justificada hoy en d\u00eda en Colombia[1].<\/p>\n

Un mes m\u00e1s tarde, en su columna habitual de los s\u00e1bados, el profesor de la Universidad Nacional Mauricio Garc\u00eda Villegas hizo algunos cuestionamientos sobre la validez de la actitud del padre Giraldo respecto del aparato judicial. La columna de Garc\u00eda Villegas motiv\u00f3 una carta de respuesta del padre Giraldo, la cual fue recientemente respondida por el profesor Villegas.<\/p>\n

En Raz\u00f3n P\u00fablica pensamos que este es un debate de una gran importancia para el pa\u00eds, no s\u00f3lo por sus implicaciones para la defensa de los derechos humanos en Colombia, sino adem\u00e1s para consolidar una cultura del disenso y la oposici\u00f3n pol\u00edtica.
