En el comunicado proponemos que el informe final incluya  una secci\u00f3n adicional sobre la aplicaci\u00f3n del enfoque de derechos a las pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas necesarias para erradicar la pobreza, especialmente, las pol\u00edticas fiscales. Ese an\u00e1lisis es necesario y \u00fatil por las siguientes razones. Primero, es necesario situar la lucha en contra de la pobreza dentro de marco amplio de pol\u00edticas redistributivas que tambi\u00e9n logren disminuir los niveles extremos de desigualdad socioecon\u00f3mica en la regi\u00f3n. Segundo, si bien la pol\u00edtica fiscal cumple un papel imprescindible dentro de este marco, tambi\u00e9n es cierto que se trata de una herramienta cuyo potencial no est\u00e1 siendo suficientemente aprovechado. Tercero, existen est\u00e1ndares de derechos humanos aplicables a la pol\u00edtica fiscal en sus fases de dise\u00f1o, elaboraci\u00f3n, implementaci\u00f3n y evaluaci\u00f3n. Y la aplicaci\u00f3n de estos est\u00e1ndares contribuir\u00e1 a la erradicaci\u00f3n de la pobreza y la pobreza extrema en las Am\u00e9ricas.<\/p>\n
