This report presents the results of a study on living conditions and residential segregation in twelve cities of Colombia
What implications does a “white”, “black” or “mixed” in Colombia have? Based on a vision of urban sociology, this report presents the results of a study on living conditions and residential segregation in twelve cities of the country. The document shows different ways in which socio-economic vulnerabilities are combined with the concentration of people of a racial group in cities. It therefore provides inputs for the design of programs and public policies that combat segregation and ensure a better quality of life for Afro-Colombians, who are the most affected by this phenomenon in the country.
